Bio
Starting on the guitar in his teens, KW's styles ran the gamut: from melodic, to metallic, to the epic. This vast appeal would end up paying big dividends down the road as his writing styles developed.
With a hunger to learn more, KW attended the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM); a former affiliate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Classical, Jazz, Rock, and composition classes were among his favorites. Wenglewski had the opportunity to learn from such guitar greats as Robben Ford, Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Greg Howe, Ritchie Kotzen, Vinnie Moore, and Jimmy Herring (Greatful Dead). After completing AIM, KW came back to Tulsa to explore various musical endeavors.
In the late 90’s, KW found himself being drawn back to piano/synth based compositions.
KW has been acclaimed for writing compositions that would suit well for movie scores and similar genres.
In addition to the above, KW believes that his music possesses a healing quality to all those that enrich themselves to his compositions. Whether interpreted as spiritual or scientific, the audience can not deny the moving harmonic pieces that so humbly and refreshingly alter their state of mind to new heights.
