The Aubrey Drive is a Power pop/Rock band, layered with infectious beats and emotionally sincere vocals, and are steadily making their way through the Florida music scene and beyond. The band originally formed around early September 2006, in West Palm Beach, Florida. After only a few months of writing and perfecting, The Aubrey Drive brewed up four tracks to be recorded. The chemistry created by each members unique style and talent is undeniable, when listening to The Aubrey Drives first recording effort, Films Write Themselves. Each track defies generic song structures, and boasts powerful and moving riffs for every music enthusiast.
In January of 2007, the band was armed with their new independent E.P., and ready to expose it to the world. The Aubrey Drive plays with an energy that is hard to match, leaving spectators with their jaws on the floor screaming for more. The band is quoted saying ?We view our live performance as a chance to set ourselves apart from the average show one might attend.
With a new found respect and following, The Aubrey Drive has gone on to play with many successful acts including The Ataris, Forever the Sickest Kids, Dave Melillo, Farewell, and Amber Pacific. The Aubrey Drive also had the rare opportunity to play the main stage at the Florida Music Festival opening for Flogging Molly. From these milestones, The Aubrey Drive intendes to bring their energy, and moving music to as many people as possible.
