Bio

The band is rounded out by Joel (the band's awesome lead singer and lead guitar player); Eric (the band's awesome guitar player); Kevin (the band's awesome bass player and vocalist); and Scott (the band's awesome drummer). The heart of their sound admittedly has its roots in a love affair with old-school college alternative rock radio. It is influenced by a variety of Pop, Rock, and Mainstream-Alternative bands, such as U2, Switchfoot, 30 Seconds to Mars, Band of Horses, Third Eye Blind, Radiohead, Our Lady Peace, Muse, and Oasis to name a few. The members of this band share a unique chemistry that has given them a signature sound that has been described as "timeless." The pop sensibilities of their songwriting can ultimately be found in their approach, which Eric has described as, "A unified and collaborative process carried out with our egos checked at the door . . . ."

The band's name is intended to describe the audio-induced rush of good-feel that they hope will follow from their music --- which is truly an Awesome Invasion. The band is currently finishing up work on their debut EP titled, “Bridge to Neverland,” which is due out in the spring of 2013. Describing the inspiration behind the name of the EP, Joel explained "Neverland is a metaphor that embodies the place where the four friends who make up this band share a rare connection, not only as friends but as musical brothers, that has remained unchanged over time despite the process of growing up personally and professionally outside of the band. . . ." Scott and Kevin have further shared that "the band's shared passion for melodically-driven music has always been the bridge that has made it possible for each of us experience this place."
