The Awful Din

The Awful Din is an up and coming, dynamic rock band from Portland, Oregon. This band is the culmination of five years in jamming with various other lineups. They fuse elements of all of their diverse musical heritages. Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, T. Rex, The Stooges, The Misfits, Bad Brains, Motorhead, Ricardo Lemvo & Machina Loca, Phish and The Ventures are some of the most notable.
Peter is a classically trained guitarist who has transferred his knowledge to the medium of rock. Although he is the primary song writer, the whole band collaborates to flesh out each song.
Shoki provides a foundation on the drums as well as vocal harmonies.
Brian weaves latin influenced percussion and vocals to the group's dynamic.
Toby adds the low end with consistency.
The thing that sets The Awful Din apart is the camaraderie of its members, four close friends, two of whom are brothers. Their ability to interpret and communicate through their instruments in a live setting makes for an unforgettable show.
