Bio

When most people hear the name “The Bamaz,” their minds immediately travel
to the backwoods of Alabama. Perhaps they imagine hillbillies sitting on a porch
with their feet dangling, or a rhythmless honky-tonk country song begins to play
incessantly in their heads. Ironically, this description does not even begin to
describe the Grammy- nominated producer/songwriter trio, The Bamaz (a.k.a.
The Bama Boyz).

The Bamaz have just begun to make their mark in the industry, they
have already accomplished so much more than they ever could have imagined.
With only five years of professional experience in the music industry, The Bamaz
have worked with some of the world’s most renowned artists and companies.
Their résumé includes production for nationally- and internationally-recognized
artists such as Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child, Mya, Lil Wayne, Mike Jones, Rick
Ross, Solange, Trin-I-tee 5:7, George Clinton, Sunshine Anderson, Voltio, and
the list goes on. The Bamaz are currently working on their new EP entitled Socially Awkward,
which leans more in an Electro/Alternative/Urban direction. The first single, “Once
the Lights Come On,” musically unites the once separate worlds of Electro and
Urban in a unique blend of House, Hip-Hop, R&B, & Dance to melodically
describe an all too familiar “End of the Night” experience in which we can all
relate. The Socially Awkward EP is schedule to be released on Halloween,
October 31, 2009.
