Bio
Originally "Eclypse Entertainment," a group consisting of two rappers (Jeremy Jordan-Jones and Daniel Lonner) and their DJ (Scott Jacobson), and their backing band, the group sought to be victorious at the Apollo Theater's Amateur Night. After winning two consecutive rounds the group was defeated, but after months of practicing together, they never seperated. With the addition of keyboardist Andy Sherman and lead singer Jamie Ballan in November 2009, The Band Eclypse was formed, a mixture of rap, rock and pop. Since the formation the band has turned the heads of notable hip-hop artists such as Charles Hamilton and KRS-One, pop-punk bassist Ryan Kienle, and disc jockeys at various radio and internet radio stations such as 107.1 THE PEAK and Idobi Radio. In May 2010 The Band Eclypse played at both The Bamboozle and BOMBfest (headlined by Lupe Fiasco and 30 Seconds to Mars), and has multiple gigs coming up with new breaking artist Samuel Adams. Influenced by anything from P.O.S. to Alanis Morrisette, The Band Eclypse can please any crowd, and make for a truly unique experience.
