Bio
Reverb drenched surf punk transmissions.
The 3 members– Erich Von Erik (Vox/GTR), Marky R (Drums) and Matthew Hopkins ‘Bitchfinder General’ (Bass/ Vox) - met up in Outer-space or Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada- whichever is more hideous. They have been releasing self-released albums since 2001.
Musically, the band has been known to fluctuate between full throttle punk rock screamers, country twangers on speed, garage pop, indie rock clamor and hill-billy rock-a-billy via Link Wray. This psychotronic ballyhoo noise could be best described as what one would hear coming from a garage on Mars, in which The Ramones and The Cramps practiced together while watching schlocky horror, sci-fi and B-movies.
Members:
Erich Von Erik (Vox/GTR), Marky R (Drums) and Matthew Hopkins ‘Bitchfinder General’ (Bass/ Vox)
Influences:
old school punk rock, instrumental surf and garage rock.
