Los Angeles (11/01/10)- The Banjo Boyz, an all star country, urban, pop
band has been confirmed to play The Moore Show (Fox 5-Las Vegas) November
12, 6pm. This date coincides with the culmination of the Country Music
Awards, held just prior in Nashville, TN. Celebrated as the "band to watch"
by music critics and talent buyers throughout the country, The Banjo Boyz
debuted before a packed house on the historic Sunset Strip at The Cat Club
(10/27/10). The Banjo Boyz are confirmed for several additional
appearances in Nashville and on the west coast. Also a reality series
is In the works featuring The Banjo Boyz. The show promises to offer
viewers a never-before-seen look into the hectic, crazed life of the band.
The Banjo Boyz include:
Damon Elliott, a Grammy award winning and multi-platinum record
producer, songwriter, and performer. He has produced music for numerous
artists including P!NK, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Wynonna
Judd, Willie Nelson and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, having amassed worldwide unit
sales of more than 150 million.
On the drums and in the position of Musical Director is Lawrence
Breaux. Along with being a member of The Banjo Boyz, Breaux has worked with
The Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Hudson, Nikka Costa, and most recently Robin
Thicke.
On the guitar, Justin Derrico. Recently finishing a two year tour with
P!NK, has worked with Enrique Iglesias, The Pussy Cat Dolls and Tina Turner.
On the banjo and guitar meet Dan Amsden, aka Pigpen. Dan, originally
from a small town near Chicago, recently picked up and moved from
Las Vegas to Los Angeles, leaving everything behind, to contribute his
musical skills to The Banjo Boyz.
