Are a country hip-hop band (more like
phenomenon) made up of star studded cast of
musicians a music director and a music producer
extraordinaire. Meet Damon Elliott, a Grammy
award winning and multi-platinum record
producer, songwriter,and performer. He has
produced music for numerous artists including
P!NK, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Wynonna Judd, Willie Nelson, and Bone
Thugs-n-Harmony. On the drums, in the position of Musical Director, is Lawrence Breaux.
Along with being a member of the Banjo Boyz, Breaux has worked with Jennifer Lopez, The
Pussy Cat Dolls, Jennifer Hudson, The Backstreet Boys and Robin Thicke. Gregg Cash, a
Philly native, brings to the Banjo Boyz his own brand of east coast stank via the bass guitar.
His work with noted producers include: Peter Stengaard (Diane Warren, Pussycat Dolls), Skip
Saylor (Guns N Roses, Foo Fighters) and Dave Kirshenbaum (Duran Duran, Bryan Adams). He
is featured on tracks with Scarface, Too Short, Shock G and Snoop Dogg. Jerry Wu, has
displayed iconic talent on several instruments. Having toured the country numerous times, Wu
has produced albums with Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne). A Taiwanese native, Wu is also lead
guitarist of Silent Treatment (Citation Records). He joins The Banjo Boyz as rhythm guitarist
along with playing the banjo. Jonathan “The Rev” Meenk was born and raised in Los
Angeles, California,. He honed his music skills just off the sunset strip playing with numerous
bands. Now considered a proli?c writer and arranger, Meenk most recently began work as the
guitar player for Jennifer Lopez. He ?nishes out the innovative pop band everyone knows
as The Banjo Boyz.
