The Beautiful Spies are a Canadian new wave band Toronto, Ontario.
Dave and Dina met 12 years ago and performed together in the dark electronic band Colecovision.
Soon after, they parted ways to concentrate on solo creative endeavors. Dave continued his solo musical career as Datafreq along with collaborating on other musical projects including a stint in Canadian synth pop legends Rational Youth.
Dina also collaborated on other musical projects along with working within the musical theatre and TV acting genre.
In 2011, Dave and Dina reconnected and evolved into The Beautiful Spies. In September 2011, they had an opportunity to perform in Berlin, Germany which was very well received.
