Bio

Another new sound from the South, and just the right mix of psy-cho-delia and near danger ;)

What makes The Beavers different?

Roger Miller's King Of The Road as a punk song, Eleanor Rigby with the heavy stops pulled out, Jimi Hendrix played with a vibe almost as if Hendrix had really wanted to be at Woodstock in '69 (which The Beavers claim he didn't) and he'd played Axis Bold As Love as a national anthem for freaks.

They often blend these classic covers with their own material.

For strictly original venues, they've got you covered with dozens of tight high energy originals.

Experienced and easy to work with for other music professionals, no heavy egos, drug habits or alcoholism.
The only warning here: Don't let their name fool you. They don't suffer fools or fakes. If a music pro has it together and deals straight you will find them to be mild mannered and polite - then downright monsters on stage.
There's a serious side too; they often promote The Committee To Protect Journalists (cpj.org) with a banner while they play.

Oh, the other thing, they're just funny as hell sometimes. The story on their site- thebeaversmusic.com - about trying to paint their name on a cloud is hilarious.
