Bio
Accomplished and awarded student of music and creative writing as a young ghoul, Glitz (aka Kari Kirsch) pursued studies in musical theater, philosophy and recording sciences at MSU.
She has appeared on stage as vocalist and guitarist
with goth/alternative projects Instant Alchemy, Nomad, Great Caesar’s Ghost, Fool Proof 100, the Beesknees and also solo acoustic.
As of 2003 Kari has been overtaken by the fashionable fiend, Glitz Batty of the Belfry. Feeding on the blood of classic horror movies and the music of Alien Sex Fiend, 45 Grave, Rob Zombie, Bauhaus, the Misfits and others, this independent musical force of electroblast cacophony and horror emerged.
Glitz is currently seeking representation, management and promotion for her recordings and future recordings (second album in the works) If you have an interest in teaming up with one original hard working fiend in her journey from the graveyard through the glitter please contact yours ghouly ASAP.
