SURE, WE KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING…
What the world needs right now is a new Rock & Roll Band.
Not just any band but a fresh, young, talented, energetic power/pop band with a sound that beckons comparisons to the best of current (Foo Fighters, Alkaline Trio, Green Day) and classic (Beatles, Springsteen, Petty).
Well good news is here, in the form of The Belvederes.
At the core of the crew are John Ford and Joe Alonzo from the John Ford Band, who as such, were a 2010 top of the pops pick (Illinois Entertainer-Best Local Bands), and recorded the “2 for 3 by John Ford” EP which lead the Entertainer (Feb. 2010 Around Hear column) to state; “…chops, talents and abilities…others twice his age can only dream of…solid vocals bring an early Ryan Adams to mind:likewise the pop craftsmanship/chord changes of his songs conjure Steve Forbert...Stop-you-dead-in-your-tracks impressive debut! More, please!”
Hundreds of rehearsals, dozens of gigs, and months of exhaustive searching lead to the discovery/addition of Tyler Kock and The Belvederes were born.
Writing recording and more gigs followed immediately, with a full length LP to be released in early 2012.
These guys light ‘em up wherever they play-clubs concerts, festivals, with an infectious, melodic groove unrivalled in recent memory. So… Get in on the ground floor with the swinging rocking always thrilling Belvederes!
