“Somewhere between the rainy day British ballads of the worlds pop
monsters Coldplay, and the hazy summer afternoon sounds of Josh Rouse,
comes the Ben Lumen Band. Their latest efforts are filled with dynamic,
passionate, highly listenable pop musings. With their heartfelt lyrical
work and radio friendly comforting sound, they can't lose!"

"The Ben Lumen Band is one of the best young bands I have seen. They
have developed a following in the area by playing numerous events and
benefits. I would recommend them to booking agents looking for fresh
talent and original music"

Bio

The Ben Lumen Band is a alternative/acoustic/Rock band with some indie/pop musings built in. The band is comprised of some of the most energetic, young musicians from the Central Kentucky area. Since their start in December of 2006 they have been featured on Illumina Records "Rocker for Life" compilation Cd, a Campaign against drunk driving, and professionally recorded 7 songs that can be found on itunes as "Static in the Snow". The band has gained quite a large fan base in Central Kentucky through gigs, several of which have been benefit concerts for The Invisible Children of Uganda. They have also distributed several hundred shirts and copies of their music.

The wide range of influences on The Ben Lumen Band is what sets them apart from most bands. They have been influenced by artist like Jack Johnson and Coldplay, to Deathcab For Cutie, to the Doobie Brothers and Oasis, the interesting mix has allowed for great leniency as far as styling goes. As most of the fans would say, this style is fresh and extremely likable.
