A musical campaign based around honest lyrics we can all relate to. Catchy feel-good music backed by enegeric and chilled out tunes. From heartfelt acoustic pieces to patriotic sing-alongs to beat-box infused hip-hoppery. The Benson Campain is thrilling punters with a show to remember.

Melbourne born, 25 year old Ben Campain has charged onto Australia's live music scene leaving audiences mesmerised. The charming and charismatic guitarist with his poetic lyrics and heartfelt melodies reveals a humble and sincere personality through songs that will take you on a roller coaster of emotions.

In late 2005, Ben Campain became The Benson Campain on entering, and then dominating, The Independent Artists Competition at Rubys in Belgrave. The explosive two-piece took out first prize, being the recording of their first EP. By this point percussionist/ beat-box extraordinaire Nik Veldhuis had found a place in bringing his own new flavour to the gig. . The sound is infectious.

The Benson Campain covers many bases. A love of story telling with an eagerness to push the boundaries of their own fresh sound is clear in songs like Cruise and Miss My Friends. Songs such as The Aussie Song, is a perfect example of Campain's heart for social justice and love for his country. The boys cover everything, from soul barring intensity, to heavier rock, to true Aussie folk. With great vibed live shows crowd are leaving gigs with a big smile on their dial and coming back for more.
They have filled headline shows at venues such as the Evelyn Hotel and Ruby's Lounge as well as big gigs at the Northcote Social Club, The Espy and The Corner Hotel. They have also played several shows with some great local talent including Josh Pyke, Ash Grunwald, Blue King Brown and more.
