Bio
For as long as he can remember, Ian Felpel grew up with a love for music and sound. From making his own tape collages of weird vocal sounds at the age of 5 and 6 years old to playing the alto saxophone and venturing into bedroom electronic music production at 10, Ian would explore the connection between initial sounds and their organization to become an emotional and expressive piece of music. Now at 18 years old, Ian's productions as The Bermuda Triangle further explore the connection, taking music to new heights.
Incorporating multiple musical styles, instruments such as the electric guitar, banjo, vocals, and other strange contraptions, and mastered with a sleek and commercial shine, The Bermuda Triangle strives to create a sound that is both cutting-edge and accessible. For audiophiles, the production is top-notch and contains plenty of musical variation, complexity, and contrast to keep listeners interested. For dance fans and regular music listeners, the music is euphoric, anthemic, and energetic, with a massive punch that will blow listeners away.
In 2011 and 2012, he started to perform highly successful gigs in his hometown, and is currently looking for other venues to be booked at. His shows are on the cutting-edge, implementing live electronics, DJing, and visuals in a highly unique and non-traditional way, and his enthusiastic and wild stage persona will get the entire audience dancing on their feet. The Bermuda Triangle is definitely a name to watch out for in the near future!
