Bio
"The b-flat project" is an ongoing effort to record Brian Bourque's original music. Brian's sonic experiments began as a student at Yale University and continued for a few years in Atlanta. He eventually fled to Santiago, Chile, where he pounded together a few songs and performed weekly.
After nearly a year and a half, Brian returned to New England, where he went searching for talented musicians to fill out the skeletal sounds outlined in his songs. The result was Square One, a four-song EP released in July 2006.
In September 2007, Brian returned to the studio, this time with drum legend Omar Hakim, Karl the Knife, and a string section. The result, the forthcoming "Bbelief," are stunning.
