Bio
Started in the summer of 2004 as an acoustic duo, David and Derrek soon after sought out different ways to improve their music. Long time friend Chris Albert was brought in to bring his improv style guitar to the scene, and shortly thereafter saxophonist John Chiulli and drummer John Miller joined the band.
Through on-going experimentation, the Big Bucket has began to develop their own style of playing, although similarities can be found in the Dave Matthews Band, Dispatch, and Justin King.
Unlike many bands out there today, the Big Bucket strives to reach everyone who hears their music without focusing on a specific age group or genre. Some songs could be catagorized as rock, while other songs might be thought of as ethnical. Influences from America, Spain, and Africa are apparent throughout their set list.
