The BIG Coque Band is best described as Bluesabilly-Funk: a hot, steaming blend of Texas Blues swagger, cool, Rockabilly style and hip-swinging Funk. Born in the fall of 2010, their aim is to get people dancing and show every crowd a great night of high-energy music. People to have witnessed the BIG Coque band in action have been blown away by the BIG sound produced by just three guys! They’ve also been quite eager to hear more, and their following swells with every show. The BIG Coque Band is poised to make a BIG splash on the Treasure Coast! Their sets include arrangements of songs from the likes of Freddie King, Otis Rush, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton and many more. And all this music made by just three cats, playing their hearts out on every song!
(BTW, it’s pronounced “Coke”, like the soda)
