Bio
Big Norm is a Filipino-Canadian Artist, Comedian, Musician, and Entertainer. Born and raised in Scarborough by a guitarist mother and a piano playing sister, Big Norm was no stranger to music and culture growing up.
He began performing music at the age of 12 and continued to sing and rap till his late teens. While going to school for culinary arts, Big Norm earned his income through promoting and hosting events. It eventually lead to the creation of The Big Norm Show Comedy Variety Showcase, which ran for a few years. Those shows lead to a stint on the acclaimed Much Music Vj Search Realty Show, numerous TV and commercial gigs, and most recently, a lead roll in the award-winning, Online web-musical-series www.PrisonDancer.com
Now Big Norm can be found hosting, performing or singing at his monthly live comedy shows, hosting or catering numerous events and parties, performing in musicals, singing back up for Tanika Charles & the Wonderfuls, blogging and vlogging for a couple of sites, and singing and songwriting for producers like Soundsmith, Boi !da & the Maven Boys.
