The Big Reveal

The Big Reveal formed after Kyle, Nicolas and Kevin decided to take a new direction in their musical careers. The chemistry between the musicians results from playing a variety of shows together over the last five years in different local bands. Each member brings their own unique style and influence that helps to shape the very distinctive sounds that are heard in our music.

During the past year, in between playing shows all over the Houston area and we recorded a full length album titled "Where The Truth Is", released in December 2012. We also have an acoustic album complete that will be ready for release in early 2013. It was performed and tracked live in an empty church.

We can't wait to see what new adventures and opportunities 2013 will bring! Thank you for checking us out.

Major accomplishments in our short history:

We've played shows at Fitzgeralds, the House of Blues Houston and Los Angeles, Walters, Super Happy Funland, Last Concert Caf, Notsuoh, Avant Garden, The Mink on Main. In October 2012 we opened up for the Tim Reynolds Trio.

Our debut album, Where The Truth Is, was completed in December 2012 and available for purchase on Itunes, Amazon, etc. We are releasing an acoustic album in the next couple of months.

We shot a music video featuring the song "Gone" from our first album.

We finished 1st in fan voting out of 130+ bands (world wide) in the 2013 Live Nation In-House competition and competed in Los Angeles at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip on April 8, 2013. There were a total of 7 finalists that made the trip. We didnt win the grand prize of being managed by Frontline Management, but will have the opportunity to play Live Nation owned venues in our region this summer.

In a recent Bud Light competition we placed 6th in a fan vote out of 40 bands in our region, and 42nd out of 320 bands nationally.

Doubled our fan base since July 2012 and hope to continue growing our fans through playing shows and upcoming festivals in 2013.
