The Black Salt is the coming together of long time friends and most likely relatives from Southeast Colorado and California. The music being created by Pelley, Thompson, Tyson, Tyler and Joe is a mix of alternative rock based somewhere in the 1990's with a little bit of country swamp thrown in for good measure. This group is different as they were friends first and band second so the chemistry and comfort shines through with each song. Playing mainly original music created by each of the band members, the group brings a lively presence to the stage with great energy.
