The Blend is a balls to the wall four piece hailing from New York City, whose sound evokes the glitz and grime of growing up in New York City today; Beatles melodies underscored by the edge of The Strokes and the sonics of the Arcade Fire. Having been together for just a couple of years they are almost veteran at 18 years old! These young lads are garnering such respect among the indie hipsterati of nyc that they have landed themselves a residency at the famed venue Pianos, a la Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Harlem Shakes, etc.
In recent weeks, they have just signed a deal with Retone Records to release their debut ep "In Between Circuit," which was mixed by Arcade Fire engineer Mark Lawson and is slated for release in May.
