The Blevies

The Blevies

BandRockPunk

Rock n Roll with a dash of punk.

Biography

This band was almost formed on accident. Before The Blevies, Jonny had some random ideas for songs on his little tape player that he never was intending to use. There was never a search for band members. We all just met within one month and the band was formed. It’s like someone pushed a button and there we were. It all started one evening Jonny went to a friend’s party. Adam was there. We met a few times before ten years ago. We never really had seen each other since. It was totally random. At first Adam did not want to be the drummer even though he was the one with the drum set. He wanted to play bass. He agreed to the drums, and we played our first gig at a little hole in the wall bar in Pacific Beach. No bass player. People liked us. A couple weeks had passed and I Jonny was hanging out at a bar in Ocean Beach. My friend Kim said that there was this guy who plays bass and was looking for a band. After talking for a few minuets, he agreed to an audition. Six months later we were recording our first album: The evil world of Rock and Roll. We all work very well together as musicians. We all have this connectivity together. Usually when one of us has an idea for a song, it doesn’t take long for us to finish it and move on to the next. We are influenced by rock and roll and hard times.
