Lyrics

Dusty Man's Prayer

Written By: Zak Salazar and Jack Rose

We worked these fields For three seasons These crops will set Im still believin' A little rain will come Little rain will come my way Are you up there Lord? You hear my moanin'? I'm stuck in dust My crops ain't growin So rain a little love Rain a little love on me Are you up there Lord? Hear my plea I've got mouths At home to feed So rain a little bread Rain a little bread on me We had dreams they blowed away Like the sands Of yesterday So rain a little peace Rain a little peace on me All I need is a little rain To wash these blues away We built this home On hope alone And now that hope Is sure to come So rain a little faith Rain a little faith on me All I need is a little rain To wash my sins away And shower down your love A little rain Is sure to come my way

Hell of a Guy!

Written By: Zak Salazar

If you want blood You better dig a deep deep hole in my heart If you want love You better go and tear that heart apart Oh I wanna breathe Im gunna lift my nose to the clouds If you want gold You better dig a deep deep hole in the ground You better dig a deep deep hole in the ground If you wanna leave Baby we could go to Amarillo If you wanna sing Darlin' I can play that old time fiddle Ooooh weee Ohhh myyy Ooooh weee Well ain't that a hell of a guy! Out west there's this kid With a head like mine and a heart like his And though you think you can You'll never speak like this Texan Well he shined his boots Combed his hair Headed out away from here Went on back to the lone star state To try his hand in a cowboy band They sang Ooooh weeee Ohhh myyy Ooooh weeee Well ain't that a hell of a guy!

The Outlaw

Written By: Zak Salazar

Held up in a hotel room Been out on this bottle of gin With a woman I don't care to know Seekin shelter from the howlin' wind Seven weeks in the same saloon Can't even tell you where I've been The drinks are cold but my head is hot Gotta get mine before I hit this trail Im an outlaw I was shot down In the hills of Mexico Got my hands on the loot I stole Forty bags full of silver and gold Peacemaker hangin' from my hip And like my woman they're too hard to hold The barkeeper thinks he's seen my face Gunna sell me out to the law So its back to back on a dusty street Ten paces turn, face and draw Im an Outlaw Well I was shot down in the hills of Mexico Well I was shot down in the hills of Mexico Shake shake gotta shake real slow Shake shake gotta shake real slow Shake shake gotta shake real slow Shake shake gotta shake gotta shake real slow Im a desperado Well I was shot down in the hills of Mexico Well I was shot down in the hills of Mexico Well I was shot down in the hills of Mexico
