The Blood Arm

The Blood Arm formed in LA in 2003 because they wanted to have fun and play good music in an exciting way. Every Blood Arm show is different and unpredictable - they perform their enormously catchy songs, while singer Nathaniel Fregoso swings from the rafters, or sings from behind the bar, or makes up songs about members of the audience, or otherwise turns the entire event into a wonderfully chaotic rock and roll circus. You will not see another live band like this. On record, they self-released the album "Bomb Romantics" in 2005; followed by "Lie Lover Lie" (City Rockers/Because) in 2006, which was given 5/5 stars by the Guardian and 8/10 by the NME. They have just finished recording a new album slated for release in early 2010. At their first appearance at SXSW, Entertainment Weekly named them "Best Unsigned Band." Since then, they have toured extensively throughout the UK, Europe and USA, both on their own and supporting Franz Ferdinand, Maximo Park, We Are Scientists, Art Brut, The Hold Steady, Frank Black, Spoon, The Killers, Muse, etc. The Blood Arm are not to be missed.
