For over 10 years, we’ve been rocking the Lake County area with a vengeance. Our success is based off a simple fact; our shows are simply…crazy. The band has a true passion for playing in front of an audience with an intensity that is infectious. Whether Gregg is playing his guitar behind his head or Phil is doing his solo on his knees in the middle of the dance floor, we’ve got that audience engaged and having a great time.
We wear our influences on our sleeves. From Big Walter Horton, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen to Bo Diddley we take these classic tunes and morphs them into our own. The Blues Monkeys stamp ensures that each performance is unique, energetic and not robotically reproduced.
Assembled from musicians from Mundelein, Lake Villa, Island Lake, Trevor and Chicago, the group has found the key element of success through musical collaboration, friendship and a love for all things rockin’.
Academically speaking, we pride ourselves on a professional show. Respectful on-time setups, short breaks and controlled volume levels. It’s our goal to provide the best show to keep an audience, expand our fan base and assist in a profitable evening for all involved.
