The BluesMothers feature a strong lead trio of vocals, harmonica, and flute backed by bass, guitar. and drums. "Mother's" combined experiences include sharing stages and recording credits with legends like Claude Bolling, Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, and Pete Seeger, with a musical range from Chicago blues in smoky bars to classical, folk and jazz in some of the worlds finest concert halls. These five women and drummer dad collaborate as "Mothers" do so well from these influences to produce an exciting sound that delights and surprises their audiences at the festivals, coffeehouses and cafes where they regularly perform. You can hear the BluesMothers harmonizing on originals and playing inspired arrangements of blues, jazz, rock, and folky pop from Yip Harburg to Jimi Hendrix. The band features the talents of Hope Berkeley (harmonica and vocals), Joan Indig (bass and vocals), Irene Maher (guitar and vocals), Jenny Murphy (lead vocals) and Bill Reeve (drums).
