The Blue Streaks

Three cool cats from Toledo, Ohio were hanging out down by the railroad tracks, "Diamond" Dusty Whitman, Mark Bickle and Shane "The Dawg" Higgins.

"We need more beer!" Exclaimed the Dawg.

"We should start a rock band." Said Mark in a much more somber tone.

"Alright." Dusty agreed.

So they did both. Dusty and Mark had honed their skills together since high school working in a great band, The Sprags. Shane had worked with various artists around town, including The Sprags and Mark Mikel as well his own project, The Hairstyles.

The combination was good. What each brought to the project fortified what anyone else lacked at the time. One guy wrote great lyrics, the other helped finish the tune, etc.

Matt Ujvagi, after finishing law school and finding success as a 9 to 5'er, found he needed to feed the hunger for the indecent things in life. So he joined the band and used the skills he learned while chained to a piano as a boy to fill the keyboard slot.

Bryan Reichow, who knew Dusty and Mark from their days as young musicians in the local scene, was available to drum and was warmly welcomed into the fold. His drumming is as good as it gets and he's as big and solid as a house with an aptitude for mechanical shenanigans.

All together the members of The Blue Streaks cover the spectrum of skills necessary to make a great rock band roll.
