The Bluez Boyz

The Bluez Boyz come from a small reservation town called Peach Springs, Arizona. Kerwin Powsey, Lead singer/ rythem/ solo guitar. Adam Watahomigie, Lead guitar/ backup vocals. Kesley Powsey, Drums. The band of three cousins come from the Hualapai Indian Reservation. Our influences rang from blues great Stevie Ray Vaughan to Zack Wylde and Jimi Hendrix. Our band puts its whole heart in every gig we do and brings "Rez" style playing into the world of music. We grew up in old "rez" living which ment go to school and try not to go to jail. We wanted to take a different route other then drugs, and the main thing basketball and sports. We first got together for a Christmas talent show we submitted in 04'. We came up with a funny version of "all i want for Christmas is my two front teeth, and thats where our journy began. We love music and love making our own songs that pertain to what we went through growing up on the reservation and life experiences. Our demo album "Rez & Roll" has been an eye opener to people who have never heard our music. We love to play and will keep playing until were old and gray.
