Bio
The Bobbers are a band of wacky men from Washington State writing and performing original music about fishing. The group consists of Carl Yost - Drums, Richard Rydstrand - Bass, and Mike Helland - Guitar, with vocals by all.
The Bobbers actually started playing together many years ago, under the name of The Wise Guys, performing cover songs at clubs in Washington State. Since all the members of the band enjoy fishing, we booked gigs at clubs near locations where the fishing was good; fishing by day, and performing by night. Finally, the group put two and two together and decided to write our all-original songs about one of our favorite pastimes, fishing!
