"The Bodacious TaTas Return!"

"With the band recovered from their bout with Hurricane Ike & lead guitarist/vocalist Chris Elliott back to his typical roaring form, the TaTas gave the Cock-eyed Seagull holiday crowd a treat worth waiting for. Sal, with his usual grooving bass had full reign of the venue while the percussion duo of Bryan & Holly are the best at playing off each other that I've seen. All together, the Bodacious TaTas are among my favorite bands bringing their unique touch to favorite covers and originals."

"BODACIOUS"

According to my Funk & Wagnall, that's southern for "bold and audacious." And that's an A-1 description of the hard rockin, party-time band, The Bodacious TaTas (www.bebodacious.com) that I caught at the Cock-eyed Seagull. This night, the room was loaded with vocal fans, whooping it up after every song. The TaTas played with high energy, a good stage presence and a sense of humor. Leader/vocalist/guitarist Chris Elliott showed off his nifty guitar skills & sang in good voice. Bassist Salvador Trevino, percussionist Holly Thrailkill and drummer Bryan Broussard accompanied Elliott, all playing well. That produced a first-rate, guitar driven sound with strong rhythm effects. Their set included a mix of originals and rock. Notable originals were: "White Roses," "Honkysaurus Tex," "Last Mistake," and "Breaking Point." Bravo!

"Menu"

"Holly Thrailkill showed me the new 2009 Bodacious TaTas menu at their Cock-eyed Seagull show last month, and is it packed! Crammed with a full slate of classic dishes and specials, fans should have tons of fun cooking up one doozie of a party. You'll be able to catch the Bodacious TaTas and their new menu in March when outdoor music returns to the Monkey Bar. Spring fever-Bring it on!"

Bio

The Bodacious TaTas have put together a different concept in the world of cover bands. We allow the patrons to control the show. We have classic rock, modern rock, heavy offerings, 80's...even some country (the fun country), twisted dishes (covers done our way, like Kentucky Fried Madonna)...all played with the same great quality. We have placed all our songs on intricately detailed restaurant menus for patrons to choose and hear. That's only the start, the crazy foursome comes up with an amazing stage show. The two drummers, Bryan Broussard, (also seen in Faceplant & The JFK Suicide Theory) & Holly Thrailkill duke it out with stick challenges, and swap-outs during songs. Chris Elliott, the famous blind southpaw guitar player awes patrons with guitar stunts and amazing delivery. Salvador Trevino is the ladies man of the band, who does his best to get the girls moving & shaking their stuff. The band gets totally interactive with the audience offering trivia questions/contests for free beer, playing drinking games, etc..whatever they come up with.
