Bio
The Bootheel started as a one song demo recorded entirely by Brandon Hebbert. After playing the song for all of his friends for the better part of a year, The Bootheel finally formed during the early summer of 2008 in the basement of the Goat's Lodge (the affectionate name for the house that Dillon Rudder and Todd Balisle lived in at the time). In addition to Todd and Dillon, Brandon also recruited friend Warren Sandwell to play drums in the band.
In the spring of 2009, the band went to Chicago to record an EP with longtime friend Jon San Paolo at Electrical Audio studios. The 6 tracks recorded there ended up turning into The Bootheel's first release, "Gold Tops."
Since then, The Bootheel has been playing shows around the Midwest and intends to continue writing music that reflects the melding of the loud rock 'n' roll that they all grew up playing with the heritage of their homestate of Missouri.
