"Live Qoute"

This is the beauty of the blues in St. Louis. It is an art that demands respect for tradition, but urges its participants to go and find their own sound. The Gang personifies what it is to be blues musicians in this town, and they do it with amazing grace and skill. -PlaybackSTL

"Hardest working band"

The Bottoms Up Blues Gang are some of the hardest working blues musicians in the Midwest. They may be young. They may be urbanites. But, they really have a feeling and understanding of country blues. And, it shows in their interpretation of so many blues classics. St Louis has a huge pool of blues talent. But, Kari, Jeremy and Adam are some of the best - without a doubt. –TheBluesNet.com

The Bottoms Up Blues Gang is St. Louis' Acoustic Blues Trio featuring vocalist Kari Liston, guitarist Jeremy Segel-Moss and Adam Andrews on harmonica. The BUBG play a unique blend of originals and covers in the styles of Delta Blues, R & B, Soul, Jazz, and Blues influenced Rock & Roll.

In the last five years The Bottoms Up Blues Gang has averaged 275 shows a year, released 3 albums, been awarded the People’s Choice Award for Acoustic Blues at the 2006 St. Louis Music Awards, shared a bill with Chuck Berry, Robert Randolph, Robert Earl Keen, Bennie Smith, Debbie Davies, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Mofro, Parliament Funkadelic, as well as a host of St. Louis talent.

For a trio, The Bottoms Up Blues Gang has a big sound. Kari’s powerfully sultry voice rings with soul intention. Adam’s tone and sometimes-ferocious feeling compliments Kari’s vintage sound and stands out as a voice all his own. All the while Jeremy holds down the groove – covering bass lines and melody on his acoustic guitar.

The BUBG play with an ever-changing line up when performing in St. Louis. On any given night the band might include a stand up bass player, additional guitar or harmonica, a piano…even an electric Kazoo! And if The BUBG isn’t playing at one of their own gigs, there’s a good chance they’ll be out jammin’ with fellow St. Louis musicians.
