Bio

In the shadows of the razor wires and walls of Texas' self proclaimed "Prison City U.S.A.", where the inmate population is almost equal to the towns, three young men came together with one thing in common, a geniue love of music. Born the son of a son of a roughneck in West Texas, singer/guitarist Jeff Butler writes and sings with a weathered and road weary sense of a man twice his age reflecting on the subtle nuances of life, love, heartache, and joy. Austin native, Kyle Dimmitt on drums, lends fire and flair to the bands sound like a honky-tonk Tommy Lee. Bassist Tank Plunkett rounds out the band with steady, hard driving, rythms with the demeanor of John Wayne. Their diverse influces come to fruition in a blend of honkytonk country rock that bear striking similarities to the Original Texas Outlaws.
