You can say what you want about Skins, but the people behind the program sure know how to pull out the best from the British music scene and present it to their undeniably large audience.
Singer-songwriter Edward Perry a.k.a. The Boy I Used to Be is one such fortunate, readying to release his second EP Holiday on April 23rd following exposure through the show at an exclusive gig in Bristol. He’s also supported the likes of Lucy Rose, Among Brothers and Strangers – indicating crucial faith from his honourable peers.
And rightfully so. The EP is a striking piece of craftsmanship, capturing the essence of British spring time by way of ballads penned for the ears of Gods, and the charismatically twee footsteps of the songs are cushioned by a twist authentic to The Boy I Used to Be.
