The Breaks Collective was a project born in 2005 when a local group of musicians collaborated in a series of 'jam' style gigs.
This group quickly formed into a band and produced 'Short Guy, Long Trousers' EP was recorded, followed by 'Broken' EP an then 'Finally' LP.
In 2012 they released 4 singles in aid of 2 national charities that gained them local media attention including 247 Magazine, 'BBC Radio Devon Feature' and a 'BBC Spotlight' feature (check out their YouTube page).
In their time they have played live supporting 'De La Soul' 'The Nextmen' ‘Toots and the Maytals’, Jazz legend ‘Courtney Pine’, ‘Gilles Peterson’, ‘The Pharcyde’ and ‘The Scratch Perverts’ to name a few. Headlined stages at ‘Gold Coast Ocean Fest‘ 'Aeon' festival, ‘Fat Face World Freestyle Mountainboard Champs' and played numerous other festivals including 'Electric Beach' near Newquay.
