Bio

Coming from a musical family Brian Burke was destined to be on stage. He first got his hands on a guitar at the young age of 10, and immediately came to love the thrill of playing for others. Brian spent most of his high school years sitting around and playing guitar with friends every chance he got, and was known to always show up with his guitar at parties. Word of Brian’s voice and guitar playing quickly spread throughout his high school and community and he began being asked to play at parties and events. After moving from Houston to College Station Brian sought out any open mic gigs he could find, including his most common appearances as Zapatos. The first addition to the Brian Burke band was a lead guitarist named John Logan that Brian met in Mexico. John’s melodic and quick guitar riffs were a perfect match for Brian’s music, and the two immediately began playing together. Now residing in College Station, Texas with a unique sound that mixes Texas country, Americana, with a twinge of Southern Rock, the two boys have a large following of folks that love to drink and party in various college communities. Brian and John are soon moving to Austin, TX where they are excited about adding both a drummer and bassist to their already amazing sound. Bottom line the guys love to play any and every live show they can, and love to play every show as if it were their last. You’ll be sure to find them at the nearest beer joint, bar, club, party, parking lot, or anywhere electricity is available.
