Brenda Curtin (fiddle,vocals)

One of the soloists from Michael Flatley’s world-renowned Lord of The Dance Show,Brenda was born and raised in Tournafulla Co. Limerick in the West of Ireland into a family steeped in both traditional Irish and classical music. She has a Bachelors Degree in music and has won numerous All - Ireland Titles in fiddle, singing and 'lilting ' (celtic yodelling !! ).

She performed on the Late Late Show on RTE and sang with Van Morrison at the Millenium concert in Dublin. Brenda has also performed for Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, and Lisa Minelli at a concert given in their honour in Dublin in 1989. She joined Lord of the Dance in 1998 and during her association with the show played in more than fifteen hundred live concerts touring the USA, Canada, South America and six year run in Las Vegas. Brenda’s love for playing the fiddle cemented the musical relationship that evolved when she met with her co-fiddler Máire Egan in the Vegas Production of Lord of The Dance and 'The Bridies' were subsequently formed in Las Vegas in 2003. They are enthusiastically received by audiences everywhere they play, both at home in Ireland and in America.
'The Bridies' released their debut album, '4 and 9',in Ireland in September 2004. They returned to Vegas in January 2005 and composed and arranged all of the music and songs on their new album,'13 which was released in October 2005. Brenda and Maire between Bridie Shows have been working with Michael Flatley on his new Show, Celtic Tiger which was performed in Budapest, London and Madison Square Garden.

Máire Egan (fiddle, vocals)

One of the soloists from Michael Flatleys world-renowned Lord of The Dance Show, Máire hails from Co Offaly in Ireland. Born into a family steeped in traditional music she learned to play many instruments including the Bodhrán (an upright Irish Frame Drum made from the skin of a goat !!) from an early age. With many All-Ireland Titles to her credit, Máire has always been very active in the music scene throughout Ireland and Europe. She performed on the Ceol Tigh Neachtain CD .Moving to Australia in the 90's she was part of Sydney based bands 'Roisín' and 'Reels on Wheels'. She was offered the lead role of Fiddle Soloist with 'Riverdance' for their upcoming extensive five month Tour of Australia, the success of which speaks for itself!! It was during this Tour that Michael Flatley offered her the role as a Soloist with the original production of Lord of The Dance, which was just about to take America by storm.

She has performed with the production since, touring the USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Australia. Máire moved to Las Vegas in 2002 to perform with the production when Michael Flatley reopened his show at The Venetian Hotel and Casino Resort. Joining forces with close friend and fellow fiddler, Brenda Curtin, the girls formed 'The Bridies' and performed at many local venues in Las Vegas. 2004 saw the girls recording their debut CD '4 and 9' which they released when they returned for a 4 month nationwide sellout tour of Ireland.

Máire is toured in Ireland with 'TheBridies' where they are launched their second album'13' and their new show. Between Bridie Shows Maire has performed with Michael Flatleys new Show, Celtic Tiger which made its debut at Madison Square Garden, New York.


Éilís Egan (piano, flute, accordion, vocals)

An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, Éilís spent a number of years touring the world with the original production of ‘Riverdance’, including the Shows hugely successful Broadway run. Before joining the Riverdance Orchestra she enjoyed a busy career as one of Ireland’s most sought-after traditional musicians recording, performing and touring with various artists including The Eileen Ivers Band, Brian Kennedy, Shaun Davey, The Frankie Gavin Quartet and the trad band ‘Reeltime’


Leaving New York to work on a Marie Jones’ play at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast, she moved back to Galway to pursue her work in composing, playing and writing music. Éilís performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland at the opening ceremony of the Special Olympic Games which was televised worldwide from Croke Park, Dublin. RTE contracted her as a Soloist for their Irish Tour with the National Concert Orchestra performing The Seville Suite, and as a result of the huge success of this Tour in Ireland, The Orchestra Sinfonica de Gallcia, conducted by Proinnsias O’Duinn then invited Éilís as a featured soloist to perform with them, along with Zoe Conway and Fionnuala Hunt. This year to date, when not busy with ‘Bridiemania’, Éilís has been playing and touring extensively with various bands including numerous performances with the 'Riverdance Flying Squad' in Bejing, China and the Middle East.
