Bio

The Brilliance formed in the fall of 2008, bringing together five friends and a shared commitment to creating enjoyable music.

Taking inspiration from bands such as Keane, Coldplay, U2, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springstein and Queen, The Brilliance writes catchy pop/rock tunes and emotion filled ballads that aim to please every listener. The band distinguishes itself with big guitars, big vocals and lyrics that will have you singing for days.

In the spring of 2010, The Brilliance released their debut EP "Love, Hope, Fear & Consequence", a five-song collection of the band's first recordings (available on iTunes).

The band followed by releasing a group of singles, with the first single "My Town" receiving radio play across Canada.

The Brilliance's second EP "All I've Ever Known" was released in the spring of 2011. During the recording process, one of the members decided to step away from the band and pursue other personal interests.

This ignited a powerful writing surge and the band has since begun recording their debut full length album, to be released in the Spring of 2012.
