BIOG AND HISTORY

After suffering a set back at the end of 2010 after (at the time) frontman Matt Strafford decided to go his own way The Brink returned with new frontman BENNY V. Influenced by Bon Jovi, Queen, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Brink are back playing their own brand of rock they call "SEXYROCK".

The history of The Brink
The Brink formed in 2007 with an aim to write songs they loved and that people would love! 4 guys with the same ambition, to be rocking Wembley one day! Influenced by bands like Bon Jovi, All American Rejects, Aerosmith etc... The stadium stage is where The Brink want to be!

After recording their debut EP ' Road To Wembley' in 2007 they have had a great response from it and have done some great gigs, including winning KLFM Battle Of The Bands and going on to support Attomic Kitten at Festival Too performing in front of 13,000 strong! They have also appeared on Britain’s Got Talent getting 3 yes's from the judges!

The line up of The Brink has changed quite a lot in the last 4 years but with Matt, Alex and Gary sticking together, they were determined to find a drummer who was as ambitious as them! They found this member early 2008 in Dave Forster, who has matched the guys in charisma, ambition and determination to reach thebig time.

In 2008, The Brink started recording their second Ep entitled One Night Only with Producer Chris Hayman which showcased The Brink's new sound. The Ep was released at Elme Hall Hotel in Wisbech in April 2009, which with a lot of hard work was a massive success with more then 300 cd sales and over 400+ people turning up to celebrate the release.

The lads spent 2 months in Hollywood working once again with Producer Chris Hayman on a new EP Broken Romance. The release of this was yet again a triumph but was followed up with shocking news that Matt had decided to go his own way.

But the 3 members still standing decided they couldn't let this spell the end to there dreams, and went on a long search for a new frontman.

September 23rd 2011 The Bink showcased their new frontman Benny V, bringing his own style to The Brink ushering in a new era.
