The best kept secret in music
Press
Most kids would kill for the kind of whirlwind notoriety Brody Buster experienced between the ages of 8 and 12. From Beale Street to Jay Leno to befriending B.B. King, Buster lived the dream before he was old enough to know it. Now 24 and settled in Lawrence, Buster is no longer a “child prodigy” – but he still blows a mean harp. The Brody Buster Band gigs 2-5 nights a week at some of the most off-the-wall joints in Kansas, purveying a crowd-pleasing set of originals and standards. Buster also plays guitar for 1950 D.A., a hard rock outfit that pairs him with ex-Paw vocalist Mark Hennessy. He joined us to share music from both acts and some stories from the trenches. - lawrence.com

Bio
Brody Buster has been playing harmonica since age 7, featured on The Tonight Show amongst other network news and entertainment show programs. When playing with BB King, the King introduced him as "one of the greatest harmonica players of our time." Now 25, Brody has assembled a line up of tight instrumentation and is progressing towards the rock and roll spectrum. Putting an album out soon and touring to promote, The Brody Buster Band hopes to bring real rock and roll back to its peak load.
