Bio

The Brothers Dupree have been rocking stages in Central and
Southern Oklahoma for four years, but as individual musicians, have a history that dates back more than two decades. These seasoned musicians count among their influences such notables as Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, the Allman Brothers and Little Feat.
They received The Lawton Constitution's Readers Choice Award as Favorite Local Band, appeared on OklaVision TV in Oklahoma City & Tulsa twice in the past year, and are booked in three venues some weekends. They believe in giving back, so they play benefits & community festivals whenever they can. They recently performed for the second straight year at the University of Oklahoma's Concert on the Lawn for the season opener football game in Norman, OK. They have opened for Brooks & Dunn, Vince Gill and HeadEast among others. The band belongs to the Oklahoma Blues Society and their original song "Sleepin' My Blues Away" has received radio airplay and had a televised performance. Their newest song -- "To The Ages" -- showcases their versatility in other genres. The Brothers Dupree collaborated with two rising songwriters and vocalist Jayson Cordero on this rock/pop tribute to Michael Jackson. It has also received radio airplay and had recent TV airings in Tulsa, OKC & on the Worldwide Web.
