B-Side has been blessed to have had incredible opportunity in the music business. Beginning his professional music career as a House Music DJ at age 14, he evolved his DJ sills to writing and producing his own music – of all kinds. Studying Jazz, Funk, and R&B with zealous passion allowed B-Side the chance to change the way Hip Hop music was made. Dedicated to his craft, he learned to write music so as to not rely on sampling when creating Hip Hop. B-Side simply evolves ideas from his influences like Dizzy Gillespie, Quincy Jones, and Teddy Riley. B-Side spent most of his life working in the secular world doing Hip Hop and House Music remixes for various popular artists/labels, and performed as a DJ for tens of thousands, in some of the largest venues with most of the world’s biggest DJ’s. Today B-Side, saved by grace, follows the great commission given by the Lord Jesus, and uses his music writing, arranging, and production ability to teach the Word of God through – simply put – good music. As his walk has matured, B-Side has also been called and blessed to teach the Word of God to our nation’s youth and young adults as a guest teacher for various conferences, ministries and churches.
B-Side now focuses on utilizing his talents in a few different facets. He currently works producing and remixing various Christian artists that have included KJ-52, Click 88, and Brawdcast. His services have also been sought for mixing and engineering amongst the Christian community as well. He has also made himself available for live performances and as a DJ for various Christian events and outreaches or for events simply seeking a DJ that can play good, clean, "family" music that knocks. Lastly, B-Side looks for opportunities to teach God's word everywhere he can. He currently does so on a weekly basis on Tuesdays for "The Truth" bible study, on Thursdays for "Reality Unveiled" young adult bible study, and as the co-host of The Proper Knowledge Mix Show - a free Podcast that airs every Sunday through ProperKnowledge.com.
