Feeling a bit camera shy

Lexington, Tennessee-based Rock n' Roll threesome The B Students formed in 2003 -- originally as a progressive and psychodelic accoustic project between singer/guitarist Joshua Petty and drummer Justin Manley dubbed "The End of The Song is Raving Madness." After recording a demo for this project the band broke up and Joshua moved to Oklahoma to find his destiny. After months of facing the perils of sidewalk performing, countless open-mic nights, and an endless stream of poetry reads Joshua returned home with new found knowledge and began writing songs for his new project at a rate of one a song a day. Joshua asked Justin through a phone call to reform the old band, only this time with a completely different direction: Rock n' Roll. Justin agreed and they immediately started playing gigs in Jackson and Memphis quickly growing a strong fan base with their hipped out rock and folk music. Soon after they added bassist Adam Galbraith who seemed to perfectly complete the mix. Currently the band is playing regular gigs in Jackson, Memphis, and Nashville while working on their first EP.
