“There’s great picking and singing throughout, and good songs (I especially like ‘Dead Man’s Blues’)…they sound like they could be old songs and that’s a good thing.” -Bob Doran, The North Coast Journal Weekly 2/15/07 - The North Coast Journal Weekly

Bio
The Bucky Walters is a young acoustic ensemble who started their bluegrass infused escapades in the hills of Humboldt County, California. Their music is a frenetic, foot stomping mix of all genres past and present, expressed through a collection of acoustic string instruments and one wailing harmonica. The traditional instrumentation of The Bucky Walters helps keep that old-timey feel while composing not-so-traditional songs providing people from across the map music to listen and dance to.
Since their establishment in 2005, Bucky Walters has performed countless shows in northern California, sharing the bill with artists such as David Grisman, Peter Rowan, Sam Bush, Mike Marshall, Todd Philips, The Devil Makes Three, Greensky Bluegrass, Blue Turtle Seduction, Hot Buttered Rum, and many more.
