Discography

Kimber Breaux released her debut CD to families everywhere in November 2006. The CD, "STARRY SKIES AND LULLABIES" features many toe-tapping, knee-slapping country tunes derived from nursery rhymes that kids will recognize.

Currently The BummKinn Band is being played on many kid's radio stations across the country including The Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl and on internet sites including NetteRadio and Loopy Moose music.

You can listen to tracks on www.myspace.com/bummkinnband or at the band's website at www.bummkinnband.com.

Bio

Texas-born singer-songwriter Kimber Breaux (Rosie Mae BummKinn) along with musicians Ryan Bueter (Mighty Maverick BummKinn) and Sam Nickell (Big Red BummKinn) are The BummKinn Band along along with their rootin' tootin' high-falutin' mascot Joe Bear BummKinn. A teddy-sized stuffed bear with a grizzly bear personality, Joe Bear sets the pace for stories and songs direct from the band's mythical hometown of Hullaballoo, deep in the heart of Fish in A Tree County.

About the band's first CD, "STARRY SKIES AND LULLABIES", one reviewer writes, “With song craft and musicianship that Nashville would be proud of and words young kids can relate to, The Bummkinn Band has itself a blue-ribbon winner of an album.”

Breaux, the lead singer and songwriter for the band, claims her parents insist she was tossed off a Shetland pony into a hay field at birth. It would explain why she thinks in rhyme -- she can't help it, it happens every time.

With a voice that some compare to Lucinda Williams or Wynona Judd, Breaux has a natural and infectious way with children and hopes that the country music genre for children will continue to grow as the interest in kid's music has risen the past several years.
