"Thank You"

Just a note to thank you for your wonderful performance during the 73rd annual U.S. Conference of Mayors. I was delighted you could share your unique talents with our guests at the Shedd Aquarium and appreciate your efforts to ensure a memorable and entertaining event.

Sincerely,

Richard M. Daley
Mayor

"Thank You"

I want to thank you for a wonderful evening of music at our President's Dinner Dance.

The mix and tempo were great - even for a conservative group of dentists. I received many compliments from the attendees and, thanks to your talents, it was obvious that a good time was had by all.

Most appreciatively,

Dr. Michael S. Higgins
President - Office of the President - Illinois State Dental Society

"The Business"

On Sunday, February 12, 2006, my husband and I were visiting Chicago for our 25th wedding anniversary (we live in Holland, Michigan). While walking on Navy Pier, we heard the sound of a terrific band, so we walked over to the outdoor tent event sponsored by Budweiser.

WOW, The Business was awesome! You were FANTASTIC! It was a cold day, but your music kept us riveted to our seats!

We had a great time and want to thank you for giving us such a wonderful show! You all made our day "extra-special". We have been telling all our family and friends about you.

Thank you

Bio

The Business began in 1994, when a group of long time friends decided to walk away from the touring, orchestras, studio sessions, and writing music for others, and form a band for the “fun” of it. They wanted to get back to the great 70’s big brass horn sound they remembered from the good old days when it seemed that all they did was have “fun” doing what they loved to do.

You see, this group of long time friends had played before in the 70’s as a group called “One Way” along side with other groups at the time such as; Styx, Cheap Trick, and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, often sharing the same stage with them in sold out events throughout the Chicagoland area and around the United States.

Little did they know at the time that The Business would be the start of a trendsetting group that put “showmanship” and “entertainment” back into the foreground of music and “fun” for themselves and everyone who has had the opportunity to see them perform “live”.

In the years since the inception of The Business, they have become the only alternative to the faceless orchestras that they themselves ran away from - much to the delight of planning boards, event planners, and wedding coordinators everywhere.

We invite you to come out and experience what a lifetime of music and friendship has created.
