Gainesville, Florida's Prog Rock band The Butterfly Theory was formulated fusing Sean Snowden (vocals/guitar/programming) and Guy Holling (bass) in early 2007, with Isaac Shearn (drums) and Jason Sanders (guitar/synth/programming) to follow in 2008. This eclectic group stems from an extensive musical background inspired by artists from Phish to The Postal Service. This space-rock quartet is known for their psychedelic, but radio ready approach to songwriting. By using more blank, open verse structures and power-pop choruses, they have formed an identity that makes their music widely accessible.
