The Bye and Bye rose from the depths of tragedy and loss into something it was never meant to be... permanent. Begun to distract themselves from their recent loss the project came together so well and effortlessly it took off and we haven't looked back since. It's a traditional sound done in an unconventional way. Influenced by both sides of the spectrum from Carter family, Woody Guthrie, Louvin Brothers and so on to Television, Gang of Four, Trans Am and such its like nothing you've ever heard from a band calling themselves country, folk or americana. So much so that we had to invent our own genre: TWANG WAVE!!!!!
